For those of you who don't know me, I'll just make this introduction simple by saying that my life consists of eating chocolate, taking pictures, and being dog nerdy. For those of you who do know me, I like to think that I might have talents beyond photography, dog training, and chocolate eating. I like to write. And so that's why I created this blog - to write. Well, duh, I guess that's kind of obvious.
I haven't shared many of my thoughts with the world yet, and so not many people know this, but I have always dreamed of one day becoming an author. For now, I've kept most of my imagination and stories to myself, but I think it's time that I had some sort of outlet (like a blog) to channel my thoughts and inspiration and emotions into, in hopes that I can practice my storytelling and that I might better express myself in these written words than I've ever been able to otherwise. This will be a way of allowing people to enter my mind and experience life with me (I can imagine my sister reading this now and saying, "Experience life with you? What life?" Okay, so maybe I have some more living to do, but I do believe the hours and days I've spent daydreaming will come of value). I'm not sure how often I'll be posting here... Maybe a few times a week, or once every few weeks. It will depend on whether or not I have anything interesting to say, and if I'm feeling inspired to say it, which hopefully, I will. I hope this blog will soon be full of enjoyable stories, thoughts, and laughs.
And I hope it doesn't suck. Which, you know, it just might.
I've decided maybe 2:00am (3:00am now) isn't the perfect time to start a blog after all, considering I have to be on my way to dog agility class with Sparky in less than 5 hours (this is dog nerdy me speaking now). With this, I end my first post and am shutting the laptop so that I might sleep. Until next time!
